ISRAEL INSIDE U
ISRAEL INSIDE U is a seven-part program beginning with the award-winning film Israel Inside: How a Small Nation Makes a Big Difference. Taking a fresh approach, this one-of-a-kind program inspires students, reinforcing their feeling of pride in Israel while building a sense of belonging to the Jewish People.
Both the course and film feature six “actualizers,” unique character traits that have enabled Israelis to succeed against all odds. Topics include: Family, Chuptzah, Adversity to Advantage, Education, Taking Action and Tikkun Olam. Each activity combines a 10-minute film and an interactive activity that helps students discover these traits within themselves. The activities were developed in conjunction with Dr. Tal Ben-Shahar, a well-known educator, author, lecturer and consultant famed for teaching Harvard’s most popular course, Positive Psychology, and the star of Israel Inside.
